Giclee – “Children Branching Out”

This painting is based on a photograph taken at a Caltech professor’s backyard gathering, where most of the children probably didn’t know one other, but started to play and interact with the other children who happened to be present.  This contemporary scene reminded me of my childhood, when kids who had just met tended to strike up a friendship and start to play. The remarkable thing of this modern scene is that there is no mobile phone in sight.
