Oil Painting – “Gustavo Dudamel”

My girlfriend, Jan, and I had summer season tickets to the Hollywood Bowl for classical music for 15-20 years—neither of us can remember exactly how long.  We always were excited when the conductor of the LA Philharmonic was Dudamel.  One night, the handsome actor who played Dudamel in “Mozart in the Jungle” (Gael Garcia Bernal) appeared on stage with Dudamel, and even conducted the orchestra for one piece!  Showing his usual good humor, Gustavo said is would too bad the director hadn’t found a better-looking person to play him.
